Currently have a charge 6. It works great. And it makes me look superhealthy and active!!
Every day I get +12k steps. That seems a bit much for 8 km. Thats walking the dog 4 times, shopping, housework, nothing sporty.
My previous MiBand 8 did not count this many steps. My Google Fit does not count this many steps.
Is this normal?

Hey there @c1live welcome to the Community!
Let me tell you, the title of your post really made me laugh, I had to change it tho, sorry!
Regarding the behavior you've described, there's an easy way to see if you're really being this active and healthy, or if your device is overcounting your steps.
Let's do a step test! Walk normally until you reach 100 steps. If you see a discrepancy of ±10 steps, that's considered normal. So you might actually be a lot healthier than you thought!
