Charge 6 records different activity at once

I started a treadmill activity on my Charge 6 and let my arm swing throughout. My phone was in my pocket. Afterwards the app showed both my intended treadmill activity and a walk that had been auto-logged by Fitbit for Android. Why did the app create an exercise at the same time that I was actively doing one? I don't have the phone's pedometer added as a connection.

This could be a one time error that might be resolved by restarting your watch before you made your next workout session.
