I have had fitbits for 5 + years and all of a sudden when I try to scroll through it keeps starting an excerise. I try to scroll to the left it starts the excerise. I scroll to the right and the alarm sets. I have restarted the device multiple times and nothing will fix this.

Have you tried restarting the device? Sometimes that's the fastest way to troubleshoot issues.
