Charge 6 short battery life

I just moved from my old Charge 4 to Charge 6. I set up my charge 6 3 days ago, and the battery seems to be lasting less than 24 hours.

Has anyone else experienced this? Hoping for suggestion on what settings to look at. Thank you.

I'd imagine that either something is running in the background that should not be, or your watch is faulty. First thing to try is to shut it down, after that, a factory reset. If this does not help, it's likely a faulty watch.

My charge 6 has lasted 4-5 days on one charge. However, I went out for a long hike and was tracking, and my battery was down to 27% by the time I was done. (Was hiking about 5-6 hours).

Hi again @VickiLeeW,

My Charge 6 is tracking everything, and has GPS set to "dynamic". My first 24 hours of use, which includes initial set up have led to it using 9% of battery. I have disabled always on screen and set the screen brightness to "dim". Other than that, it is all go. The last 24 hours also included a 15 minute HIIT session, which it tracked very well.

In this respect, something is definitely not right with your watch.

All these issues with short battery life are due to Fitbit sending a bad update to the software. Users have done nothing wrong or different. Fitbit have broken our watches making them useless. I know this as my friend Simon works in very complex IT systems and he and all his colleagues are aware of the mistakes.

Fitbit sent me a replacement watch for free and it's exactly the same. We need to group together to demand redress.
