Charge 6 sleep information needs a subscription?

ANSWERED

I had a Fitbit charge 4 a few years ago and honestly it was quite good it lasted for a little over a year before the screen went dark on me

I’ve been considering getting a smart ring like ringconn because i only want it for vitals and sleep, I really don’t care about the fitness features

But the Fitbit charge 6 is cheaper then a smart ring and honestly will probably last longer and be more accurate. (I’m assuming)

Is the Fitbit subscription needed? Back when I had my charge 4 I didn’t see a reason to have the subscription is that still the case today?

Hi @berhutba2! Welcome to the Fitbit Community! It's great to have you here!

The Charge 6 is a great option, you don't need a subscription to receive your sleep information, the subscription gives you additional information but the sleep stages, sleep score, etc doesn't need the Premium.

I know you'll enjoy your Charge 6 and find it very useful.

absolutely not unless you want FItbit to tell you if you sleep like a bear or dolphin.
