I have had the watch approximately 20 months. It has died. It started to freeze a lot the past couple months on the ECG screen, not letting me scroll past it. I had to keep trying to press the side button to get out. Then that stopped working. It then froze on the screens about keeping fingers on the side or on the 30 sec screen. I tried every reset option available in every possible manner. (charging cable button [tried more than one cable too], fitbit button, reset from phone). The app will not connect to it while it's frozen like this, so I can't delete the app. Called for help from tech support and tried every option they provided. Nothing works. I will let it completely die and see if it reboots, but since it has been getting progressively worse, I don't expect it to. The best Fitbit could do was offer me a 35 dollar credit, which I guess is something given that it is out of warranty. However, I won't purchase another Fitbit given this issue. It's frustrating this watch lasted less than 2 years. I did like it while it worked. I'm just not a person that is willing to treat personal electronic devices like this (or any electronic device for that matter) as a less than biennial purchase. While this can certainly happen, I will not trust this company again.
