Charge 6 will not set up to Bluetooth on Android

2nd Charge 6 I have attempted to set up to Bluetooth on Android without success. Have contacted Fitbit associate by phone several times and have been told a ticket has been created and to check back in a few days. I have had many Fitbits over the past 10 years and this is the first model that I have not been able to set up. These are the last steps that I have tried trying to cover all the bases: After multiple "Try Again" I deleted Fitbit app. Turned off phone. Restarted phone. Reinstalled Fitbit app. Went to phone settings.. app.. Fitbit.. deleted cache and data and forced stopped app. Again turned off phone and restarted. Opened app. Connected Charge 6 to charger (now at 100%) Went through set up step steps (Agreed as required , allowed location requirements, etc) Charge 6 found. 4 number code displayed on Charge 6 and entered into app (I have noticed that once I enter the 4 numbers, the numbers grey out.. is that supposed to happen?) Then no luck.. try again.. and I do the indicated steps: Bluetooth, charge, reset. A million times. Do you think this is my 2nd dud? Any ideas that I have not tried? Seeing all the other problems regarding the Charge 6 on this forum, I am not sure the Charge 6 is worth all this stress and hassle. I wonder how long before the Inspire4 is released?

Right now, there's no word yet on an Inspire 4, however, I'm sure that once more information is available, it will be released.

Have you tried restarting the Charge 6?  Also, which Android do you have?  Is there an OS update that you haven't installed yet on the phone?  Are there any BTs in the area when you set up the device?
