Charge 6 won't receive iOS notifications

I just received my Charge 6 started the initial sync to an android phone and Google messages worked great.

just synced it to my iPhone 13 and there’s no way to see iOS messages, is that a bug or par for the course?

I have an iPhone 12 mini and receive iMessage notifications on my charge 6? I think it was enabled by default as well.

I think I found the problem, went into Bluetooth and the Charge 6 was not connected, once it was, notifications worked.
