Clock face not updating stats from app

It's quite frustrating that the app will have certain stats but the charge 6 clocks faces only update some of them e.g. distance never gets updated..

Hello @Michdan1

There is an issue with distance tracking on the Fitbit side. The team is aware of the problem and has been working on a fix.

That said, there's an update for the Android Fitbit app, ver 4.26.1, that started rolling out today, 25 Sep 2024. I got the update this morning. At least 1 user reported that the iOS Fitbit app update started rolling out yesterday (24 Sep 2024) Although I haven't seen confirmation, I'm hoping that this update fixes the distance tracking issue.

The app updates tend to rollout in waves. If you don't see the update right away, keep checking.

Is this the same for all clock faces.? I’m guessing the app is updated and showing distance normally. Try changing clock face then restart tracker/watch then go back to original clock face and test that.

Thank you for the advice. Did all you suggested.  No difference.  It only updates if I carry my phone with me on a walk, but not I I come back and sync it. Thanks will just put up with it.

Hello @Michdan1

It doesn't look like the latest update, version 4.27, fixed the distance issue based on your report and a few others that I've seen. That's extremely disappointing.

I'll report back if I learn any updates on fixing the distance bug.

I also see the issue with the Fitbit 5 where the face clock distance doesn't show any stats. It's been at 0.00 for at least a month. I've tried different clock faces, but the issue is with all of them.

Hi , oh no that is annoying. Is it with any steps or a particular workout?
I realised that outdoor activity is a non step based one and so doesn't
count distance. Have changed whereas walking or running seems okay.

Is more like the distance on the Fitbit app isn't the same as the Fitbit Watch Faces distance indicator. I walked with my phone and watch for about 4 miles. The Fitbit app shows 4 miles, but the watch face indicator shows nothing. On the flip side, if I start a walk exercise from the watch, it correctly displays the miles on the indicator and the Phone. It's strange.

Thats really bizarre. And not what you want with a fitness device! I find
mine doesn't always update on facebook if I walk without my phone.
