I cannot connect my new Charge 6. Been a FitBit user for 7 years now and have had frequent connectivity problems but never this bad. Contacted support and we rebooted the device, rebooted my phone (iPhone with 17.1.1), restarted Blue tooth, removed all devices …. twice with rep and once again in an email with new (supposedly) instructions. iPhone 13 and iPad just will not recognize the device. Has anyone else had same problem? Could it be 17.1.1?

Best AnswerWhen you say that your phone doesn't recognize the Charge 6. Don't you mean the Fitbit App on the phone?
Your phones Bluetooth is not suppose to find the Charge 6.

Best AnswerYour fitbit is a Bluetooth Low Energy device, and will need the Fitbit App to pair the fitbit to the phone. Once paired, yes you should see the fitbit device listed in the Bluetooth.
Sorry @Grammynet I'm not sure what is happening . The Charge 6, just like the previous models, does not have a wifi radio and will not be able to connect to wifi. Your Charge 6 will only connect to your phones Bluetooth
