I kind of understand both features separately but my confusion is when my daily readiness is high which tells me to push myself but then my cardio load/target range for the day is between 1-10. Since the cardio feature update my target range is 1-10 with only a few days that are increased.? Wonder if anyone is getting similar results.? I have been fighting a new covid variant for the last month so I’m beginning to think this could be confusing the algorithm link to both daily readiness & cardio load. If they are seeing high heart rate but zero activity level it would be abit confusing. First few days I did see HR of 109 just getting out of bed to use toilet then back into bed. Mostly Back to normal now but seeing no real change in cardio stats. If others are seeing confusing numbers then I can rule out the virus infection.

Hello @robworkingout
The Daily Readiness score indicates how well our bodies have recovered from activity, based on sleep, Resting Heart Rate, and Heart Rate Variability.
The Cardio Load Target range is based on our previous activities, fitness goal, and readiness score. If your Readiness score is low, then your Target Cardio Load will be on the lower end, acknowledging that your body's recovery level is low.
The fact that you were sick for the last month definitely impacted your Cardio Target Load range. This help page has additional information on how the Target Cardio Load is calculated (<-- click link). I would expect that once you're fully recovered and back to your regular workout routine, you'll see your Target Cardio Load range change.
I've had High Readiness scores and lower Target Cardio ranges since my goal is to Maintain. When my Readiness score is low, my Target Cardio range is also on the lower side. I pretty much look to see where my dot is on the Cardio bar graph compared to my fitness goal and plan my workouts accordingly.

I don't understand it either. I went 3 days where the cardio load wanted between 1-25 but my readiness was moderate to high. Then my last 2 days the cardio load was around 100 and was saying I was at risk of under training. Right now I don't like it because it is doing just the opposite of what it's supposed to do.
