Delayed and missing notifications

I get notifications about extremely high heart rates on my device, to which it directs me to open my mobile. On the mobile, there are no notifications, NOTHING. No current or past notifications. What is the point of getting the notification and not being able to access it?

Then my hourly reminders on my phone (Samsung A52) had been getting to my device just fine till the past week where either the notifications are missing or delayed or don't alert me and then suddenly upload. My phone is always next to me, the do not disturb on the phone has been there and the reminder app is allowed in that mode, the device is set to receive notifications regardless of the phone do not disturb settings, I have hunted for all the hidden notifications whatsoever and allowed them. The app is updated, my phone OS is updated. I have forced app stop, disconnected and reconnected severally, restarted device severally. Still, it seems the device chooses when to work with the phone or snooze. I had to use reminders from my calendar app because the device is blind to the clock app of my phone, now the device is starting to have issues with it too. 

This is exhausting🤦

I literally just turned off the do-not-disturb, synchronised the device and the next phone notification did not show up on the device. As for the heart notification, never happened as long as the app is concerned.

If this has issues, the device is useless to me.

To finish the icing on the cake, I uninstalled and reinstalled the app, and the notifications settings feature completely disappeared. I can't tell or choose what notifications my device is going to get now🤦. WOOOOOOWWW! What a stellar performance from fitbit😖
