Deleting the historical data

Hi all, I'm trying to delete older data in my account via Manage Data, but the prompt only says "it will take some time if you have a big data" or something like that. Are there other indications that the data is deleted completely? Unlike the exporting of data, where I get notified of the status via email of its completion.

Hello @nustak1

I don't think you will get a notification. What you will notice is that you won't see data in the Fitbit app and fitbit.com dashboard for the time period you selected or any data for a particular metric (e.g., steps), if you decide to delete all the data.

I recall a user reporting that it took around a day for their years worth of data to be deleted from their account.

FYI - If there are badges associated with the data, like steps, I think those will no longer appear in your account once you delete the data.
