Does anyone else fit bit record different heart rates than it displays?

So sometimes the screen on my Fitbit charge 4 will say 190 something on the screen but then the app records it in the 180s or high 170s. Does anyone understand why?

Hello @pakerg9 and welcome to the Community.  That number you see on your screen is a 'spot' heart rate.  Graph show a heart rate that is averaged over several minutes.  Your daily heart rate graph is averaged over five minutes.  An exercise heart rate graph is averaged over one minute.  The peaks and valleys get smoothed out.
