Was an update performed on the fitbit charge 6 ? In the past couple of weeks everytime I go for walk and start it on the watch I get message later on that the GPS couldn't connect. I'm outdoors walking and do have some trees but it should allow GPS to connect. My phone is in my pocket while walking, so if GPS doesn't work what would be the purpose of wearing the watch?

6 weeks ago I had the EXACT problem with my Charge 5. After 9 calls with Fitbit it was deemed "my problem". I ordered a Charge 6, only to have the exact same problem. After 3 weeks of literally everything fitbit could think of it was determined again it is not the device nor the mobile application. This is somehow connected to maps/Google/Samsung but I am STILL searching for an answer. I have run the same route for 3 solid years, every morning. Then *poof* one day it just starts dropping off 3/4 to 1.5 miles of my route.

To make matters worse, I did the same walk twice today. first one started from watch and it totalled .54 miles, 66 calories and 952 steps. The second one started from the app tallied .46 miles, 74 calories and 947 steps. So the steps are within acceptable range but the distance is off .08.
