Noticed my charge 6 wasn't syncing (had it 3 months, first time done this).
Tried resetting app and phone, nothing. Bluetooth on and off, nothing. Told phone to forget charge 6 in hopes watch would do something, nothing.
Tried soft resetting, does nothing at all. Tried instructions for hard reset and again nothing.
Button on side gives haptics. Can scroll through screens fine, HR working.
Any clues?

It sounds like you have already done the recommended troubleshooting without success. At this point, you should contact Fitbit support (<-- click link) to see if they can confirm that your device is defective. If they confirm it's defective, they should let you know what are your options under warranty.

I had this issue. After trying everything you did and not succeeding, I deleted the Fitbit app and reinstalled it. It worked after that. Hope that helps you too.
