Downloaded step data does not match data shown in the app

HI I downloaded and counted my steps for the 1st of jan 2026 and found out that there is a mismatch in counted number of steps, where the app shows 177 steps between 00 and 01 but the downloaded dat shows zero.

Then I looked into more days and found that in january sofar only 5 out of 12 has a match.

Is there a place where I can report this bug ?

Hi @Northern_Viking     You can send this information directly to Fitbit/Google in the Fitbit app.  Tap on your profile picture, then Send feedback.  They do not respond.

To add to Laurie's response, if you see Report issue in the menu that opens when you tap on your profile picture, please use that to report the issue. 

Even though you likely won't get a response, the Feedback and Issue reports are received by the team for review.
