Hi everyone,
I bought my Fitbit Charge 6 in Hong Kong, and at that time, the ECG feature was available. Later, I moved to mainland China, and I noticed that in my mobile app, under Health Assessments, the ECG section has disappeared. Now, I only see notifications for high and low heart rate.
I would like to know:
How can I set up my mobile app so that I can continue using the ECG feature while in China?
If I return to Hong Kong, will the ECG option automatically reappear?
For reference, the ECG feature on my Fitbit Charge 6 itself is still present—it’s just that the mobile app no longer shows it, so I can’t access it anymore.
Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Hello @LuckiCactus The ECG feature is medically regulated. It needed approval from the US Food and Drug Administration in order to be released in the US. It has approval from the equivalent regulatory body in Taiwan, but not mainland China. I know that users in other unsupported countries can use a VPN to show they are in a supported location. This might or might not be legal in mainland China.
Yes, it will return when you are in Hong Kong.
