Editing / removing an exercise category

I love the Charge 6 but I have an exercise category issue.  I had created an exercise category called "Rowing Machine" to manually add the Hydrow rowing sessions.  This includes all of the stats, including meters).  When I manually add an exercise in the ap, I can see there are TWO "rowing machine" categories:

1) Rowing Machine (manually created): It has start, duration, calories AND meters
2) Rowing machine (pre-loaded): It just has start, duration, and calories.

The second one appears to be a default as it does not include meters.

When I sync my Fitbit the Hydrow rower (it syncs for heart rate only), I can also choose the exercise I am about to do, but among the 40 exercises I can choose, it is only showing the 2nd "Rowing machine" option.  It does not  have the first option (the only I created).  Therefore, when Fitbit is auto-logging the session, I do not have a way to log the meters, nor is there a way to edit anything besides the start time in the ap after the fact.

Is there a way to any of the below:

1) Add "meters" as a tracking specs to the Rowing machine category that I can later manually update?

2) Allow for the Fitbit watch to include the Rowing Machine category (manually created) to be a selectable exercise so it will log the activity to that type (instead of to "Rowing machine").  If the watch is limited to 40 exercises, there are at least 35 that I never use and I could remove those.

Where can I customize the exercises that appear as selectable?

The benefit of selecting one of the 40 exercises in the Fitbit watch to use is great, but if the category profile doesn't have the specs I want to track, and cannot add it to the log later, then this is limited.

@Dexter22 Which phone Apple or Android or you asking about. I'll be happy to move your post out of the Charge 6 hardware support.

Rich_Laue - were you able to add this to the hardware support area?  Is there a link?  Seeking answers.
