Charge 6 map routes disappeared

I recently had to replace my charge 5 with a 6 and I've noticed that the activity maps have been sporadic. This past weekend we took a walk that was 4.78 miles. As I always do, I started the exercise on the fitbit app. When the walk had ended, I hit stop on the fitbit app, saw the miles, the lap times, and the map route. After a few minutes I went back into the app to look at the information again, but most of it was gone. The exercise no longer shows the miles, the laps, or the map. All it shows is the duration. zone, steps, and calories. This has occurred on my wifes charge 6 as well. The previous weekend, I followed the same process and all the information is there. Why the difference? Why is this happening?

Hello @KevinF23

There is a known issue on the Fitbit side that affects seeing completed workout data in the Fitbit app. The team is aware of the issue and has been working on fixing the problem.

Although the app is not showing the data from completed workouts, users are reporting that they see the correct number of exercise days in their Fitbit weekly progress email. So that indicates to me that our data is being uploaded to our accounts on the Fitbit servers, but the issue is apparently affecting syncing our data on the servers to our apps.

For now, there isn't any troubleshooting we can do since the problem is on the Fitbit side.

Are they working on it? This has been happening to my wife's charge 6 for a few months now and no fix yet. Last weekend our walk initially showed that it was recorded on the "Fitbit App" but now shows as "Fitbit for iOS" It also shows the walk as being broken into 2 separate walks. I'm not interested in the number of days of exercise, I'm interested in the lap times, map, and distance of the walk. All of which are disappearing. I appreciate the response but would love to hear from someone at Fitbit (google) when the issue will be fixed.
