I’ve noticed there was this issue when trying to connect to Strava in 2018. I am having the same issue with this error message:
statusCode":500,"error":"Internal Server Error","message":"An internal server error occurred"}
The given fixes no longer work. Is there a new patch coming out for this?

Did this ever get fixed? Have seen the same issue. Also see that Fitbit no longer syncs to strava.

I'm glad to inform you that we've made some updates to the Strava integration that should address issues with workouts syncing between the apps.
Additional Troubleshooting Steps (if needed): Make sure your Fitbit and Strava accounts are connected, please check that you see Fitbit listed under "Manage apps and devices" in Strava settings on the Strava app and ensure that Strava is also listed in the Fitbit app.
