Fitbit Charge 6 to Strava

I've just bought a FitBit and my workout activity was recorded all ok on my FitBit, however nothing is showing in Strava. I can see after looking online this is an ongoing problem. before I do what others say, uninstall etc (still doesn't work BTW), can anyone help??

The only thing I'm seeing that could be an issue is this section when linking the accounts together. The top option is greyed out. "View data about your public profile (required)".

Ive selected the "workout" exercise option on my Charge 6, as my activity is Pickleball, and my GPS is set to Dynamic. I have lots of data captured on Fitbit from my game, just nothing coming across. Really disappointing and can see this is a common issue. I dont want to load up my Garmin watch! Appreciate any help

Mine has recently failed to upload to strava, despite successful uploads 6 days ago. I've run through permissions and settings and everything seems to be in order. No option to force upload to strava?

So I found in Reddit an app called Health Sync that will transfer everything over each time. It's working well so far. Amazes me this is the workaround. 🙆

Yep it appears to have been broken for several weeks now. I'm having to go my activities in Fitbit and export a gpx and then import into Strava. In addition to that Fitibit is no longer updating Strava with things like my weight updates. Very annoying.

Hi Everyone!

I'm glad to inform you that we've made some updates to the Strava integration that should address issues with workouts syncing between the apps.

Additional Troubleshooting Steps (if needed): Make sure your Fitbit and Strava accounts are connected, please check that you see Fitbit listed under "Manage apps and devices" in Strava settings on the Strava app and ensure that Strava is also listed in the Fitbit app.

Fitbit App: Using a Google Account:

  • In the Fitbit App, tap on your Profile picture (top right), Fitbit Settings, Manage access to account, Manage connected apps.

Fitbit App: Using a Fitbit Account:

  • In the Fitbit App, tap on the Gear (top right), Fitbit Settings, Manage access to account, Manage connected apps.

We always appreciate your feedback, thank you for your patience.
