Exercise Tracking still an issue

Fitbit exercise tracking does not work, I started a walk from my iPhone the result was a straight line as the crow flys over the ocean.
Date of walk was 6th August.
I did comment before that exercise tracking was not saving now it saves but is useless

@Sneddoh I find it best to initiate exercise on the device itself and then sync later to show up on the app.  Specifically for WALK or RUN, for better accuracy, I also enable GPS.
