I was waiting and voting here for new clock faces since i got my watch.
Now there are shipped, a whopping 3 (three) faces more or less the same kind of what is already there.
Ok, they can make a tick on 'give more useful clock faces' and close this thread, fine.
But guess what: I even wont be able to check the new c. faces b/c they CUT OFF support for Android 10, which my huawei is running (thank you trump).
So everybody who is asking why not receiving updates anymore: are you running android 10? If so: say good Bye to updates, you are done!

@steffenfit The Fitbit app requires Android 11 or higher. This became effective in May 2025. This change has nothing to do with Trump. It has everything to do with the fact that Android 10 is no longer supported. Android 10 reached its end of life in 2023. Google stopped security updates then. Time for a new phone?

Android 10 was released in Mar 2019. Many phone makers offer ROM updates. Check to be sure. I never buy new phones. Google for how to select a good cheap used phone (on ebay require seller to have great rating and must allow returns). Sometimes older models can be found from Amazon(that's how I got my Pixel 7) - again assure they allow returns(not a seller that advertises there!) You will probably also need a new SIM card as very likely your old one won't fit micro or nano.

1.
I received the May update (May 12), since it was still for Android 10. So the cut for Android 10 was not in the May version
2.
I don't want to get political here, but:
Trump imposed the ban on Huawei. My model was supposed to receive Android 11, but because of the ban, that never happend. That’s the connection to Trump.
3.
My smartphone runs fast and without issues, even though it's already old. I won't buy a new phone (just) because of Fitbit. But indeed, time is near for that.
Still, thanks for your input

Yes Iam aware of alternate roms and checked already. Unfortunatly, no custom roms available, but thanks for this good hint anyway.
And, my current phone was a used one already, even if it was just one year old, you can safe some money
Luckily, the update politics has changed a bit in the better direction and updates for up to 7 years is offered from some brands.
And this makes absolutly sense, my phone still runs great and would do for years if it would receive updates.
