Fitbit 6 not tracking steps correctly

My Fitbit 6 is just not tracking my miles or steps. OK one day then completely off. Today it was more than half a mile off compared to Map my run. I run the same route every day so know exactly where my mile markers are. Very frustrated

Thank you for sharing the feedback regarding the Charge 6. 

Please make sure that you are not using Mobile track. It is a service that allows you to count steps using your phone even if you forget to wear your Fitbit.  Steps counted by Mobile Track using your phone will be uploaded to your Fitbit dashboard. To avoid those extra steps, please go on your Fitbit app, on the today screen (on the opening page click on the upper left corner). On the account screen scroll down to Mobile Track and click on the 3 dots and choose "unpair".
