Fitbit Charge 6 Installation Issues

Has anybody figured out how to get the Fitbit Charge 6 to sync, pair, and function? I'm running into the same problems as everybody else. I have reset my phone. Uninstalled the app and reinstalled. People suggest doing a factory setting restart but my watch won't even let me do that? Any advice?

Have you already checked if you can update your Charge 6? Please see: Why can't I update my Fitbit device? 

I suggest you try to follow the troubleshooting steps from these help articles too: How do I set up my Fitbit device? and Why can't I set up my Fitbit device? 

For a long restart you can try to do the following:

  1. Connect your device to the charging cable. For instructions, refer to How do I charge my Fitbit device?
  2. Press the button located on the flat end of the charger 3 times with one-second pause between each press. Then wait 10 seconds or until the Fitbit logo appears.

Another way to restart your device is to unplug it, wait a second, and plug it back in. Repeat this process 3 times in an 8 seconds interval and then wait 10 seconds until the device restarts.
