Fitbit Charge 6 - can't use timers while tracking exercises

Recently got a charge 6 and I'm pretty happy with it except - why can't I use the countdown timer while tracking an exercise?? Isn't it the only time you would actually expect to use a timer on a fitness tracker? So bizarre

Hello @hokumto1 and welcome to the Community.  I apologize if I misread your post.  There is a feature in the Exercise app that I think does exactly what you want.  When you open your Exercise app and choose an activity, swipe up on the tiny "^" at the bottom of the screen.  Tap on the Set a Goal option and choose Time.  Enter your choice.  You get a vibration alert when you are halfway through your workout and at the end.  I suggest you turn off the Heart Zone Notifications, too.  Too many extraneous vibrations.

I hope this suggestion meets your needs.  I don't have a Charge 6, but I do have a Luxe.  It has the same navigation.  I can start a countdown timer, then swipe to the Exercise app, but I think my suggestion keeps it all on the Exercise app.  Plus the halfway point vibration.
