Basically what the title says, my Fitbit overcounts my steps by nearly double. I have tried to adjust the stride length but it hasn’t helped. I’ve also reset it. Any other options before I return it?

Hello @MrsKingy
By any chance, did you add your phone as a Connected device in the Fitbit app? This is an option that lets users use their phone to track steps & workouts when they're not wearing their Fitbit device. Some users have reported that they get additional steps when they have their phone as a connected device.
To check this:
If you have Phone as a Connected device, tap on the tile and follow the prompts to disconnect your phone. This won't disconnect the Fitbit app from your phone.
The other thing to be aware of is that wrist worn trackers, including Fitbit, use arm movement as part of step tracking. Activities that involve a lot of arm movement or driving over bumpy roads can generate additional steps.
