¿What has per sese Google ‘innovated’, or Fitbit ‘motivated’, with respect to the Fitbit platform andor authorized devices (let alone the Charge 6 specifically)?

Evidently further they are advertising this newest Charge֊ thusly (with boldening added by me for emphasis): «Our #1 tracker. Now with Google.»Screenshot_20230928_134138_Chrome.jpg

which suggests that previous Charge- models *didn't* "have" Google..?.., or implying that this newer one is more aligned in some way than predecessors in this way, or..?..
