I have a Fitbit Charge 6 which is connected to these apps:
- Strava (Unidirectional, this app should only receive data from Fitbit)
- TechnoGym (Unidirectional, Fitbit to TechnoGym data transfer only)
- Health Sync (Using this as the Fitbit for whatever reason does not sync non GPS activities to Strava, it is unidirectional, only sends data from Fitbit to Strava)
For every workout, I start an exercise on my Fitbit and end it when I finish. I get three replicas on my fitbit dashboard of the same workout, e.g:
When looking at the data from my phone it says, in descending order:
- Exercise 1 (walk): From 'Official Strava'
- Exercise 2 (treadmill): From Charge 6
- Exercise 3 (run) : From 'Official Strava'
Why is Fitbit counting the same exercise three times here? how do I make this stop? Thank you

Hi @FredRed123 I am here to help. By the way you have stated that you have those accounts setup then you will be able to adjust the amount of each apps Read and Write permission to Google Health and then you will be able to mitigate the overlapping data. You can also use the attached Google Health combined information to be applied to your "today's" tab in the Fitbit app dashboard or simply use the data from your fitbit device while you are using the app and you can add that to the Google Health secondary and witness the combined data that you have overall with your attached apps all in the Google Health App. I hope it works for you! Alternatively you can add the Fit app to the mix and then the situation could be improved as well if the first option is not successful.

I suppose you should check what activities are you getting recorded under Strava. In my experience, if you have Fitbit linked to Strava and Strava gets an activity recorded from any other source than Fitbit, it will sync it to Fitbit.
