Fitbit stopped syncing Monday night

My Fitbit stopped syncing Monday night / Tuesday morning.
I have endured Bluetooth is working, manually tried to sync, turned phone off and on and even redeployed the app. But no sync still- doesn’t give any error too.

Hi @RTJN and @mrrob1952, welcome to  the Fitbit Community! It's great to have you here!

Let me help you with the syncing issues you both have been experiencing lately. Thanks for the troubleshooting already tried.

It may arrive that an update resets some feature of the app such as notifications. However, the syncing should run as normal. For syncing issues, i recommend to try the steps suggested in our help article Why won't my Fitbit device sync?

I have exact the same problem; last sync was Monday 28 July. The only information the apps show after Monday is an amount of calories burnt based on? I don't know as it doesn't show results of my spinning class, my steps, etc.

Hello @RTJN , @alexes1966 , @Gigigraham , @CP69

Some users, including me, found that turning off both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, then turning them back fixed our syncing problem. Please let us know if this worked for you.

Hello @CP69

Thanks for trying the suggestion and letting us know that it didn't work.

Are you an Android or iOS user and which phone do you have?

Ok here is what worked.

I removed my charge 6 (forget device) from Bluetooth. Then I rebooted the Fitbit from the device- after this my phone asked if I want to pair (if you don’t restart the device it won’t pair) - I paired it. And it started syncing.
I am on iPhone.
thank you all!

Glad something worked for you. When you say you rebooted the Fitbit from the device, could you please explain the steps? I'm at my wits end.

If you swipe down on the device you will see settings - select that and continue swiping up until you see “restart device” - select that , it should reboot and then your phone will pop up message to pair. All the best

Yup, I tried that too, now all I'm getting is a message saying " Download the Fitbit mobile app", which I already have🤔. Thanks

So before above worked - I had tried removing and reinstalling app- not sure if it matters. You can try I guess. Frustrating that Fitbit has no clue of this issue and how to fix this

Yup tried that, but to no avail. Yes it's very frustrating that no one from Fitbit has a clue on how to resolve. I had an issue with my last Fitbit  ended buying another one, not this time, I'm done. Again thanks for your help.

Hi there, I have fixed my problem. I tidied up storage in phone, did an update and then it worked no problem. So the issue was my phone not the Fitbit. Hope you guys get to the bottom of it. It’s so frustrating, I really missed my Fitbit.

Thanks, that worked for me!
