Hello @Libra682
By any chance, have you tried editing your sleep log in the Fitbit app to see if it will recover the data from your Charge 6? Sometimes, it's the app algorithm that causes issues with sleep data.
If you haven't edited your sleep logs before, this help page (<-- click link) has the instructions.

Thanks. I just did this. My Charge 6, which is about 8 months old, has just this week started to have issues with sleep tracking. Both last night and two nights ago it under-tracked my sleep by about an hour at the tail end. Nothing has changed. The device is clean, snug on my wrist in the usual spot about an inch above my wrist bone, and charged. I'm a really good sleeper, consistently getting about a 90 and getting 7-8 solid sleep hours.
I tried all the other troubleshooting steps--(cleaning, though it was clean, checking fit, restarting several times, restarting phone app, restarting iPhone. They didn't work.
I just went in and edited the two troublesome days so I guess I'll have to wait to see what happens. Hoping editing the sleep hours works.
My Fitbit also doesn't give me a map of my walk. To be fair, I had a Charge 5 prior to this and it stopped giving me the map shortly after Google rolled out the new app, so I can't blame the device. Would you happen to have any tips for that? It was really nice seeing my walk. I miss that.
Thanks again!

Hello @lirn
I've been seeing more reports from users that their sleep tracking isn't as accurate as it used to be. So, I'm not sure exactly what's going on. If I see an definite issue/pattern, I'll try to escalate the issue.
As for the maps, are you starting GPS when you begin your walk? If not, this help page (<-- click) has the instructions on how to start the GPS option

The sleep tracking issues from a June update seems to be a common thread in this Charge 6 forum. I’m still a Luxe user but just bought the Charge 6 and was about to unbox it today when I read there is a major software “incident” today. I use FitBit mainly for sleep, steps, and heart rate tracking. Has this software update issue related to sleep tracking been fixed? If not, might return the Charge 6 as this forum has highlighted some major issues with it.

I used to not have to. I guess I have to do that each time now? When I start walk it says GPS connected even though I haven't done anything. Also, if it helps figure out the issue, I *do* see my walk on the third party laptop app, Fitness Dashboard. So if that app generates the map, shouldn't the Fitbit app show it too?

I’ve tried that when data is inaccurate or there’s no log and it doesn’t work. Doesn’t show the deep and rem and light sleep settings.

Still having the sleep tracking issues. I did manually edit my sleep for a few nights and nothing changed. Shorting my sleep by one to two hours a night, even when I don't get up during the night. Always at the tail end. Has me waking up one to two hours earlier than I do. So not getting g an accurate sleep score and can't see my accurate sleep stages.
I'm hoping it gets fixed soon. I really miss it and sleep tracking and tracking my walks are the two things I use.

I wanted to update this thread by saying that it appears whatever was causing the sleep tracking problems has not been an issue for four nights in a row now. I have to assume there was a fix made for this if others are seeing the same thing. I went a fill week with it either not tracking sleep at all or shorting the last couple of hours.
I didn't change anything about the way I wear my Fitbit, and it seems to be tracking well now, as it did before.
I hope the others who were having this issue also see resolution!
