Trying to change my food plan but jyst keep getting fitbit.com is down message, tried everything, its shocking that this app just doesn't work

The app is now entering phantom weigh ins nearly everyday now......some of which wont delete, and if I do delete them they are coming back.........your app is in an appalling state and not fit for purpose, puts me off of paying for premium membership which I was thinking about.

I'm sorry you are experiencing a different issue in regards to some phantom weights that are being logged and that they cannot be deleted.

Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. Our development team is also aware of it and they inform that this issue is expected to be fixed with the latest version of the Fitbit app whose launch will take place within next week. See How do I update the Fitbit app? for reference.

I'm having the same problems and it seems as though it's been going on for days and scrolling through these comments.

Hi, I am facing the same issue with the food goal. I noticed my food goal changed by its self and now is showing as a set calorie intake. I am trying to reset the food goal back to calorie deficit which is what it was previously. Each time I set it, it just immediately reverts back to the set calories goal. I have forced shut down the app, shut down my phone, updated the Fitbit app today but nothing works. How can I resolve the issue?

Why is it you appear to be ignoring glaring issue that everybody is having. Is fitbit.com down for maintenance or not

@DavidFitbit  so where is this fix then ? The app is utterly useless for weight managment right now and is just about the most important part of the app for me. I bought my fitbit in good faith and presumed it would do what it was suppose to. I don't understand how a multi million pound global company can have a broken app and just leave it for weeks.....you deserve to go out of business.

I 100% agree and I will say be careful because the speech police moderators may delete your comment because it's being a little mean. 

I wrote something the other day along the same lines. How about this app being useless and David 's reply being we're working on it. 

Your developers are really not that good. If you're still working on such a simple problem, it's a message. Go into the code and find out why that message is being triggered. I haven't done software development for a long long time but it's not rocket science. 

And like you, yes I'm trying to use this app to manage and really watch my calorie intake etc. But it's not working currently and I love that I saw another response to someone else's comment like thank you for letting us know the problem the developers are wearing. We're working on the problem now. Basic we're not doing anything really response
