Google Maps not working on Charge 6

Google maps not working on new Charge6. Performed all steps as instructed; never works. Always says it cannot connect to my phone, even when I am running Google Maps on it.

So many issues on the first day of using this thing. Regrets already that I gave this another chance.

Can you send a screenshot of what you see on your device when you try to connect?

• Are you getting notifications? 
• Any problems with syncing your data? 
• Is your Charge 6 a trusted BT device on the phone? 
• Tried restarting the tracker and phone 
• Support for Google Maps 
• Have you setup (Fitbit App) the Map Tile? 
• I had to Disconnect and reconnect to get my maps to work.

Somehow it started working. I didn’t change a thing.

Mine has never worked, no mater how many times I reset everything

 ahve this isssue of Google Maps not working - tried uninstalling, reinstalling, resetting etc with no success.

Any ideas? Is this still an issue for everyone?
