Why Fitbit cannot align the setting of the Google Wallet in Fitbit OS and Wear OS? Is the problem from Fitbit or bank / credit card issuer problem?

I am having the same problem on an Android Samsung. It says contact the bank but a google wallet was easily added to my phone just not the watch.

Google Wallet on Fitbit is not the same as on mobile phone. They both support different banks/cards. For example, on the phone I can add my HSBC UK card but I can't do it on Fitbit. Fitbit's GW should be called "Google Wallet's Little Sister".

I only know it after buying the watch. The advertisement did not mention the difference of Google Wallet between Fitbit device and Android Phone / Wear OS Watch which could constitute misrepresentation.
