HR tracking fails miserably

I bought the new Charge 6 on release day and still not impressed with HR tracking during excercise. This is supposedly their best HR sensor yet. It fails miserably, and this is the 4th or 5th Fitbit device I have purchased. I give up! I'm returning it and moving on to another brand. I like the features of the Fitbit brand/products otherwise, but the HR tracking during excercise is the most critical metric to track in my opinion, and they fail with this metric more than anything else.

It's ridiculous how common of a complaint this is and they still resist to add the ability to sync with a chest strap just for excercises. I'm probably going to go with a Garmin, I've read that you can pair the Polar H10 with Garmin. I've been using the Polar H10 for a few years now, I just can't pair it to Fitbit and it's only because they refuse to allow it. The technology to do so is simple via programming, if they would just allow it. So I'll just move on to another brand that does so.
