I'll be laying here doing absolutely nothing, and it'll read my heart rate at 130. I've tried making the band tighter, looser. I've tried restarting it. Of course, I am on beta blockers so I get worried when I see things like that. So, I'll take my heart rate myself and it'll be at 70. But strangely, by the time I'm done counting my heartbeats per minute, my fitbit is now accurate again? I suspect that's because I'm being still. I don't think the counting is lowering my heart rate, because it's consistent from start to end. I'm just tired of the fluctuating inaccuracies; they're freaking me out more than they're helpful at this point! Does anyone have any advice other than readjusting the band or restarting it?

I had this problem. Are you hairy? I am. So I shaved the *palm side* of my wrist (so it's not so obvious) and wear my fit bit in the "backwards position" with the face on the palm side of my wrist. It solved that problem for me.
