Hourly activity not showing since last update

Since the last update my hourly activity is not showing on app on my phone. It’s just a blank pulsing space. I have restarted everything numerous times, but it still is not working.

Same thing has happened with me.Ive restarted. Shut down my phone. Closed and reopened the app. Re-paired with Bluetooth. Everything I’ve read online to do and none of it has worked.

Hello @Cocotea51 , @Stepper55

Please let us know if you're an iOS or Android user, what phone you have, and what is the Fitbit app version you're using.

Charge 6. Version 20001.214.24

I have iPhone 11. iOS v. 18.4.1
Fitbit v. 20001.214.24

---

Something else that’s not displaying is steps. Steps display on the Today screen but when you tap on steps it takes you to the screen that shows daily, weekly steps but no data displays.

Hello @Cocotea51 , @Stepper55 , @WandaJR

Have you had a chance to uninstall, then re-install the Fitbit app on your mobile device? This has fixed the missing hourly activity & other missing data for most users.

Hi @Stepper55

Thanks for letting us know that you were able to get your hourly activity back. Glad it was a relatively easy fix this time.

Sorry, just seeing this reply now. I have done everything suggested and it hasn't fixed anything. I have an iPhone 16 pro and it is up to date. I might add, not only is my hourly activity not showing (just pulsing nothingness), but I also was having to recharge my Fitbit every other day despite unchecking many stats. Luckily I had purchased it at Best Buy and had their Total Care coverage. They replaced my Fitbit Charge 6 with a new one and now I only need to charge every 5 to 6 days with all the stats I had previous. However, there is no hourly activity showing, just the pulsing blank lines. So I have uninstalled, re-installed, did a forget this device and added it back, re-started my phone numerous times, all to no avail.

I don’t want to uninstall the App because if I’m not mistaken all my previous data will be wiped out, correct?
I have iPhone 13, iOS 18.6.2 My device is Inspire 2, app version Fitbit 4.53 (45331005)

You will not lose your data if you uninstall. I’ve done it twice before and my data was retained

Hello @Queryfit59

Just to confirm, you won't loose your data when you uninstall the app. When you sync your Charge 6 to the Fitbit app, your data is also uploaded to your account on the Fitbit servers. You'll see your data when you log back into the app.

Actually, uninstalling & re-installing the app is one of the troubleshooting steps that we suggest when a user isn't seeing their historical data in the app.

We do recommend logging out of the Fitbit app before uninstalling.

Yay!! I've been messing around with it for months and finally had time to look at the forum.  It was an easy fix.  Thank you.

Not only were the hourly steps messed up, my goals were unavailable.  Removing the app and reinstalling it fixed that problem too.  Is there any way to have Fitbit/Google change the help file?  The help response included an option that does not exist on the app.  This simple solution of deleting and reinstalling the app fixed everything. The help file should suggest that rather than point to options that do not exist.

Again, your response was a life saver.  Thanks again.

Hello @PattiWagen

I'm glad that this help you restore your historical data in the Fitbit app.

By any chance, could you please share the link for the Help file that you saw and let us know which option isn't available in the Fitbit app? We'll see about getting the information to the correct team so that they will hopefully correct the Help page.
