I was hoping to create a dump of my heart rate readings for the past few months. I tried the data export feature, but the dump I got has nothing like that - there's a "Heart" folder but all it has is ecg / afib tests, which are not what I need.
It looks like I could set up heart rate alerts (and I can export those), but as far as I can tell, those only trigger if the heart rate goes outside the range when you sleep, not the rest of the time.
The only instructions I could find anywhere were for using a tool to hit the Fitbit API, which seems a bit more involved than it really ought to be.

Hello, @vikotsu2, welcome to the Fitbit Community.
Thanks for letting me know about this situation in regards to the heart rate data export using your Charge 6.
You're right, some of the heart rate data you can expert are Heart-rate notifications and Irregular rhythm notifications, can you explain in detail which kind of heart rate data you want to export? I understood you want to export a dump but I'm not pretty sure which specific data this is.
You can also check this article to know which data you can export, probably the one you need is being called by another name.

A pretty simple heart rate over time excel sheet would be great. You know what? No. Of sleep hours/night would be great too. What I'm saying is, the data export tool is completely useless. Even something as simple as steps/day in a simple CSV or excel file isn't possible currently. Why not?
