So after 7 years my dear Fitbit Ionic died, which I still think was the best product this company ever put out, and, your forums which are terrifying reiterate that. I just bought a Fitbit Charge 6 despite the horrendous comments repeatedly on line about Charge 4-6, and, I had it on the charger correctly ALL night. As of this morning I put it on my wrist to set it up with my Fitbit app. The battery died INSTANTLY, no battery. Nothing was done with the unit. I put it on the charger to see confirmed it said now 0% battery life. What?? OK. The side button does nothing, and, the screen is non-responsive when you swipe it, but turns on randomly by itself. This stuff frankly is GARBAGE. I can't believe this is what Google is putting out now. I may just go pay a shop the same amount of money this junk costs to get my Ionic battery replaced and repaired. On top of that, your app is horrible and has gotten worse over time. It used to be great. Now, it just sits there flashing and never allows you to log in. Fitbit was amazing when we bought our Ionics and Flyers 7 years ago. They're in the toilet now and about to crash & burn. Great job, Google! Returning this garbage sadly back to the Google garbage dump where it belongs. It's sad there's no products out there that are just trackers that can be an alternative to AppleWatch. Since Google bought Fitbit they're leaving a gaping hole in the marketspace, so I'm hoping another company will step in and create something new, because Fitbit is seriously failing the target market that desire non-Apple trackers. Buhhbye Fitbit! 👋🏻👋🏻👋🏻 I don't have the time or stress space to fuss or overwork to make your poor products function, as an Entrepreneur. These devices are supposed to LESSEN stress, not increase it. You're out of alignment.

Hi @PHX111. Welcome to the forums.
Thank you for taking the time to share all this feedback regarding the experience that you had with Ionic and Charge 6.
Sorry to know that you didn't manage to get it work. Perhaps a moderator or someone else in the community could give you some suggestions on this before you get rid of the tracker. I'm sure that there was a solution with it.
Regarding the Fitbit app, please note that whenever we make changes and improvements we think about how to meet the demands of our customers; however, this does not guarantee that in some cases certain features of the application or trackers will not be pleasant for some of the users.
I apologize for the experience and for any inconvenience caused and again, thank you very much for the feedback. Please note that our team is always working to enhance your experience and your feedback is a big part of that process.
