Hi,
I recently got a bicycle trainer and, when I use it, I see “Spinning detected” on my Charge 6. I”m using the latest version or the iOS app, but none of the directions I’ve found bear any relationship to what is actually on this app. For example, it says “tap on your profile picture on the upper left…”—and the profile picture is on the upper right. Can someone who is using their Charge 6 with the iOS app please tell me the correct steps to find “Spinning”? Assume that I know nothing.
Regards,
Mark
Best Answer@mpemburn This isn’t an issue with the Fitbit app. This is a feature on the Charge 6. It will auto-start the Exercise app for these six exercises: walk, run, bike, elliptical, rowing, and spinning. If you want to turn this off, you need to go to the Exercise app on the Charge 6. Select Spinning and go to the settings for that shortcut (the settings where you set a goal, etc.). Look for Auto-start and toggle it off.

Thank you for your reply, but it doesn’t address my issue. I would like to see what Spinning contributed to my fitness. It’s being tracked—why can I not see this recorded somewhere?
On the Charge 6 itself, I can scroll up to see “EXERCISE 2 of 5”, but swiping or tapping does nothing. I know that there is an “Exercise” section in the iOS app, but what it shows is “Outdoor Bike” for two of the last five days. I’ve only ridden on one of those days, and the speed and distance are wildly different from the actuality.
