I'm going around in circles trying to do a warranty claim.

Iam beginning to fume. My Fitbit Charge 6 broke. Thete is no fixing it. I have tried. It us in the one year warranty still. It actually broke a month ago but I have been trying things to get it to work again and when I couldnt I have been trying to get a hold of someone I can talk to about getting a new or refurbished Fitbit. But I have been unable to do this. I have read all the ways it says on the internet. Including, these forums. My fitbit app does not have what it should have for me to talk to someone. I am going in circles. The warranty page links have you go around and around. You never actually get anywhere. Iam beginning to think it is done on purpose. By the time you find someone to talk with your warranty is up. My Fitbit app does not have the links or information that these forums say it has. On one if the warranty pages it wants you to choose which device you have but does not include a Charge 6. It doesnt matter though because even if you choose something else you end up right back where you started from. I have yet to find this chat box that is suppose to be somewhere or any email address. I found a phone number that they say not to use. I cant get through. I tried an email I found on here Contact.fitbit.com but it doesnt work. Neither does just fitbit.com. But of course that is a webpage not an email address but that is what I read. So, I tried anyway. Can someone please help me?

Oh, and yes I tried the actual website contact.fitbit.com or fitbit.com but same thing. I just go in circles.

The support site for Fitbit is https://support.google.com/fitbit/gethelp

Complete the prompts until you get the option to chat or call.

I have done this numerous  times now and it just takes me in circles. I never get to the point where I can chat with someone or got a phone number. You answer a few questions and go to a few different pages just to come back to this one. Has anyone here actually get to the point where a chat box came up or a phone number/email address?

Yes. It is different than when I did it in the summer but it seems to work fine.

Using the above link (https://support.google.com/fitbit/gethelp ) I filled in "What can we help with?" with "fitbit not working" and then it gave me some additional choices of which I picked the one about black screen issues. Then the "next" button took me to some self-help resources but I was not forced to do anything there. The next "next" button gives me options of get a call, call, or chat. I clicked call and get phone numbers,  but it is not allowable to post them in this forum for some reason.

I’ll save you a world of pain here as I’m 2 months further into this than you. 


The warranty is a sham and yes it’s deliberate. There is also no complaints procedure. Customer services won’t reply. If you search this problem you will unearth literally thousands of posts from frustrated and angry people who have bought a product that doesn’t work and have no consumer rights to rectify that. 

I  came in here as a last resort was advised to fill in a form. No reply. My case has been now been removed from my outstanding queries without any contact or resolution whatsoever. So here I am two months later, no Fitbit, no replacement, no refund, no contact.

 So the cold truth is when you buy a Fitbit you are dealing with scammers simple as that.
