Hello. Recently, my Charge 6 (although it's probably the application's fault) measures the distance incorrectly. Yesterday I took over 11,000 steps and the distance was only 1.2 km

Hi, @Pynio , it sounds like you are being affected by a bug that is currently causing some users to have none or very low distance calculations. Fitbit is aware of the issue and working on a fix but there is currently no time table for when the fix might be available.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @Pynio. And thanks for the information provided @Julia_G.
@Pynio I understand your situation and thanks for explaining that your Charge 6 is having a situation with the distance.
I recommend you to check this article, specifically that part 'What are some tips to make sure my Fitbit daily activity is accurate?', just to make sure everything is coreect. And also, restart your Charge 6 before your next workout.

Hello @Pynio
As mentioned, there is currently a known bug affecting distance tracking. The team is aware of the issue and is working on a fix.
One user doing troubleshooting discovered that they saw distance tracking when they disabled automatic stride length and manually set their stride length in the Fitbit app. If you want to try this workaround, this page has the instructions on how to manually set your stride length (<-- click link).
Although this workaround has worked for many users, some users have reported that it didn't work for them.

And how long has this problem been going on? Charge 6 is the most expensive smartband on the market and something like that is a bit weak. I would change the length of the steps but we take different steps during the day and I don't know if it would work exactly then.

Could someone send a link to the thread with this problem?

so... I changed the stride length today. it seems to have caught on. I wonder how reliable such step counting will be because theoretically the machine should be more accurate by catching the movement of the wrist. Guess what time I made the change
