Latest Firmware broke Sync

I updated the firmware on my Charge 6 this morning.  After a successful update, I was asked if the device could disconnect and reconnect for a more secure Bluetooth connection.  Which I allowed. 

My phone and device will no longer see each other.

Things I have tried.

Restarting both.

Deleting the Charge 6 from the phone and adding it back.  They will not pair.

Removing the Fitbit software from my phone and then reinstalling.  They will not pair.

Any other ideas?

There was one step I missed to get the sync back.

Delete the Charge 6 for the phone in TWO Places.

You need to delete it from the app and go into settings under Bluetooth and forget the Charge 6.

You may still need to remove and reinstall the application.
