I got my charge 6 only about a month ago, had 4 and 5 previously
Since Tuesday my fit bit has not recorded my miles correctly. I run 5 k every morning and it seems to record this run stop. I have done between 17 and 20k steps a day but the miles are all stuck at around 3.5. When I am going back through this weeks records it is changing all of my steps to todays amount of steps?? I noticed an update on Wednesday or Thursday and updated my phone thinking this would fix the problem As you can imagine this is very frustrating
i am iOS
i have re started my watch numerous times. I have tried to amend the clock face. I have checked my phone and watch are up to date
any other suggestions?
I get a message saying all my data will be deleted if I update the app too 😩
Best AnswerMine just started having a similar issue today. Even thought my device is still counting my steps, it says Ive walked 0 miles. If i try starting an exercise it shows a pace of 0 and mileage of 0. I have also tried disconnecting and reconnecting it multiple times. Nothing seems to help. Very frustrating 😞
Best AnswerMine is the same with the pace. I’m hoping the steps being all muddled up sorts itself out too. Gutting when u work hard all week and can’t see your progress. Really disappointed. Had issues with my last 2 for bits but decided to give it another chance and but the Charge 6. I have not yet contacted fit bit. Was trying to see if anyone had a fix 🤷🏻:female_sign:
Hello @SRob1980
We've seen reports from users that they aren't seeing distance being tracked in their Fitbit app. This issue has been escalated to the team.
That said, one user noticed that they saw distance tracking again after they disabled automatic stride length and manually entered a stride length in the Fitbit app. Several other users have reported they also saw distance tracking when they used this workaround. If you would like to try this workaround, this help article has the steps on how to manually enter your stride length (<-- click link)
Hopefully, it won't take too long for the issue to be fixed.

Hi.
This hasn't worked for me.
Even bought updated fitbit thinking it was faulty but same issue. Not at all happy
Best AnswerIt’s weeks later and my watch still isn’t working and I have updated the stride. My charge 6 is new also and I have to say I’m pretty upset. I had been so tempted to leave Fitbit after the last sleep update, but decided to stick with them and now I have a tracker that doesn’t track.
Best AnswerHello @LeslieAdkins
Please see my previous post where I describe a temporary workaround by disabling automatic stride length and entering a manual stride length in the Fitbit app.
Although many users have reported that this workaround was successful for them, it hasn't been the case for all users who are experiencing this issue.

Best AnswerI’m also experiencing previously captured distance have been reduced. I noticed today that my recorded swim distances for the week weren't matching what I’d completed. As I scrolled back through previous months, I saw the distances update to lesser amounts than I'd accomplished. Very disheartening to see months of hard work evaporate.

Why do we need a work around fix the issue. Stop saying there is no issue?
Best AnswerIt's 15 Sep and I am one more of the users who are not getting automatic distance updates! WHAT IS UP, Fitbit? If this was happening with other apps, we would receive comms from the app team. Figure this out and push out a fix!
