Today my Fitbit has me at 3miles and 7600 steps for the entire day. I went out for my walk, during which I wear a Polar heart rate strap, and it has me at 4.9 miles just for my 75 min walk. It’s also not unusual for Fitbit to have my heart rate at 120bpm and Polar will have it at 150bpm. I assume the Polar is the more accurate of the two?

Hello @joninte2 and welcome to the Community. Your distance discrepancy is likely due to how distance is calculated with each device. GPS or steps x stride length? The Polar chest strap is more accurate than a Fitbit. Your Polar uses ECG and all wrist wearables use the optical heart rate monitor (OHRM). People who test wearables for accuracy always compare the OHRM to a chest strap.
