I have read all existing posts but there seems to be a continuing problem with the connection between the 2. I have several times reset connections by revoking access and then allowing and it works for a few days then stops importing data then starts again then stops. It’s so annoying what is going on here?

There's currently a service disruption for the Fitbit Web API that started around the beginning of this month (Sep 2024). The description of the service disruption states "Some users may notice data discrepancies or syncing issues between 3P apps and Fitbit. Our team is currently investigating the root cause of the issue." I believe this is the reason why you're having problems.

For now, there's nothing that you can do on your side. Hopefully, it won't take too long for a fix to be implemented.
