I have had a Fitbit for a long time. I just got a new Charge6. WHY do I have a move to a google login. I don’t want to use my google login. I am already P*SSED my nest keeps asking me. Stop it. No one wants this. I’m now going to return the Fitbit and buy another device.

Hi @IH8TGoogle Google announced the future requirement for a Google account in early 2023 and started implementing them in mid-2023. The announcement included three stipulations. Any device released after mid-2023 must use a Google account. Fitbit/Google released the Charge 6 in Sep 2023. As a current user, you must migrate by Feb 2, 2026. Any new user must use a Google account.
