New Charge 6 GPS Not Accurate

Just picked up the new Charge 6 this week.  After making sure everything is updated I found the GPS isn't accurate, it isn't even close.  I had the Charge 5 for a year and it was great.  My standard morning walk is 8 miles.  The Charge 5 never missed, if it was on the charger and I just walked with my phone and tracked the walk with the Fitbit app it was accurate as well.  The Charge 6 can be off up to half a mile upon completion.  Are they working on this or did I make a mistake sticking with Fitbit?

I have found this issue as well. My Charge 6 is only around 5 weeks old.  I run 5k daily. The same route. This last week or so at the end of the run I am 1 mile short. I know there are a number of issues globally. I had to change my stride manually and it helped a bit but now this very frustrating.
