I bought a new fitbit charge 6 as a gift for christmas. We plugged it in for charging, the fitbit logo briefly flashed on the screen and left it to charge for 2 hours.
After that, the screen has been black the whole time and we cannot get it to turn on. We have tried:
*plugging it back in for longer
*plugging it in and pressing the button on the charging cable 3 times
*plugging it in and pressing the button on the charging cable for 15 seconds
*plugging it into a computer to see whether it maybe would show up one the computer...
Nothing gets the screen on. I want to sent it back for replacement/repair since I bought it in november of this year so it's outside of the 30-day return policy for the webshop where I bought is. I cannot find instructions on the fitbit website to return the product either. I live in Belgium. The only way to contact support is sending a message through X which I don't want to do (I don't have an account and don't plan to make one).
I cannot find the instructions for the return authorization either on the help website. All keywords such as "return", "authorization", "garantie", "retour" (in english and dutch) don't yield any usefull help pages.
Can someone help me out?

Did you press the button on the side of the watch face?

I did! It didn't do anything.
I must say though, that I can't really feel the button on the side of the watch move when I press it. Is that normal?

If you can't feel it, then that means the watch is not on. It might be a faulty one if you have already tried charging it. Get a replacement.

I feel very subtle, slight movement when I push the button, but the watch also makes a little vibration. If you go online to the fitbit community homepage, scroll down to the bottom of the page, where you will find a link for contacting fitbit by having them call you or chatting online. Perhaps you could arrange for a return or exchange that way.

I've never felt the watch vibrate... I'll try to start a return procedure.
Thanks!
